BCMS Corporate is a fast growing M&A Advisory firm focused on working with lower middle market private companies and entrepreneurs. The successful candidate will have at least four years M&A experience, preferably in the middle market, and will be an effective and convincing deal person. We will look at candidates with related backgrounds such as PE but in all cases, an understanding of the deal process is a prerequisite.

A BCMS Deal Leader intercedes between client, prospective acquirer, and all appropriate advisors, in order to achieve the best possible outcome for our client. Deal Leaders must take ownership of their projects. They must be resourceful and able to navigate negotiations to generate competing offers for a maximized value at completion.

The Deal Leader must be able to create positive outcomes where the less tenacious would fail, and should get great satisfaction from working in a small business environment.  An understanding of the mentality and needs of our clients must come naturally.  We specialize in working with lower and middle market business owners, who are set to benefit from years of investment of time and money in their enterprises.

The winning candidate will have the leadership ability to leverage the skills from the BCMS team of specialists. Above all else, our Deal Leaders must be able to direct the team, client, acquirers and advisors to successful deal completions.  

BCMS Corporate was founded 21 years ago and currently has over 200 employees working out of offices in New York, Ft. Worth, Calgary, Kingsclere (outside London), Manchester, Belfast, Istanbul, Cologne, and Malmo.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of M&A experience
  • Ability to lead deals and manage clients – not purely transacting M&A documentation.
  • Extreme sense of ownership and drive.
  • Outstanding communication and persuasion skills
  • Experience presenting to groups and managing meetings.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Team player – we work hard and are tenacious but still carry a family business mentality and set of values.
