Clyde Energy Solutions was bought by the Radiator Company in July 2009. Created by a management buyout in 2006, Clyde Energy was a reputable supplier of market leading systems. After contacting 250 prospective buyers and receiving expressions of interest from 23, BCMS Corporate negotiated five meetings and three lucrative offers.

Radiator's motives for the acquisition were simple; as a private equity backed business, they were looking to acquire similar business in their sector. Clyde’s business streams include: boilers, radiators, hot water systems, sustainable energy, technical services and consulting. Clyde’s owners believed that Radiator would be able to build on Clyde’s previous success and continue to grow the business capitalizing on complementary areas.
